JEUVEAU/BOTOX
Do NOT manipulate the treated area for 3 hours following treatment. Do NOT receive facial/ laser treatments or microdermabrasion after Botox injections for at least 3 days. Ask your provider if you are not sure about the time frame of certain services.
Do NOT lie down for 4 hours after your Botox treatment. This will prevent the Botox from tracking into the orbit of your eye and causing drooping eyelid.
It can take approximately 4 to 7 days for results to be seen. If the desired result is not seen after 2 weeks of your treatment you may need additional Botox. You are charged for the amount of product used. Therefore, you will be charged for a product used during any touch-up or subsequent appointments.
Do NOT perform activities involving straining, heavy lifting, or vigorous exercise for 6 hours after treatment. This will keep the Botox in the injected area and not elsewhere.
DERMAL FILLERS
Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area. Unless instructed by the provider.
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours.
Avoid alcohol consumption 24-28 hours post treatment.
If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.
Use Tylenol for discomfort.
Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling.
Take Arnica to help the bruising and swelling, start at least 2 days prior to injections.
LASER
Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks post laser treatments.
Use a broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 30 or greater is critical when receiving any laser treatments, and is recommended for maintenance of results.
Any sun exposure may darken or burn treated areas.
Tylenol is recommended post treatment if continued discomfort occurs.
Avoid any additional laser treatments or peels in treated areas for 2 weeks or until complete healing has occurred.
You may apply ice packs, cool towels or aloe-vera to alleviate discomfort.
Avoid any topical Retinol, Vitamin A, AHA or BHA products until skin feels back to normal.
MICROBLADING Please Follow Post Procedure Instructions for 10-14 Days Following Treatment
Increased sweating.
Swimming.
Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi.
Sun tanning or salon tanning.
UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading.
Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck.
Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.
Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab.
CHEMICAL PEELS
Wash twice a day with a gentle cleanser and liberally apply a bland moisturizer after cleansing and throughout the day as needed to prevent dryness and formation of crust (Aquaphor, Cetaphil, CeraVe).
Do Not Vigorously Rub and Pick the Flaking Skin.
Sun protection is critical. You should NOT have any sun exposure; this includes a tanning salon. Wear a broad spectrum sunscreen with a SPF 30 or greater.
Avoid Laser Treatments, Waxing or microdermabrasion for 3 weeks.
Wait 7 days before resuming the use of Retin-A (tretinoin), Renova, Differin, Tazorac, Ziana, Veltin, Atralin, glycolic acids or any other exfoliating agents such as a Clarisonic Brush.
If You Were Prescribed an AntiViral Medication, DO complete the prescribed course.
The procedure may cause swelling, redness, crusting, skin sensitivity, and itching that can last 1-2 weeks.
In the days following the peel, the skin may feel and look tight, with parchment like changes and darkening of the skin.
MICRONEEDLING
Redness or sensitivity might be present (and last up to a few days).
Use Tylenol only as needed for any soreness.
Do not pick or scratch at treated skin but instead keep moisturized.
Eat fresh pineapple to optimize healing.
Avoid strenuous exercise or sweating for 24 hours due to open pores.
Treat skin gently washing with a gentle cleanser, cool water, using hands only and pat dry no earlier than 4 hours after peel.
May use cool compresses after peel if excessive discomfort, burning, redness, or swelling.
Follow post peel instruction sheet if indicated.
Avoid sun exposure for 3 days and if possible 10 days. Apply a minimum of SPF 30 every 2 hours.
May use mineral makeup after 24 hours.
Restart regular skin care regimen in 48 hours and Retin A in 72 hours.
Recommend follow up and repeat treatments in 4 weeks and for best results a series of 3 – 5 treatments.
