Luxe Looks Derm Aesthetics was opened by Dr. Gary Vicik, MD FAAD in 2017. Our Kirkwood location is relatively new compared to Dr. Vicik’s private practice in Belleville Illinois, where he has been practicing dermatology since 1975. Dr. Vicik graduated with a degree in medicine from Saint Louis University. Upon completion of his residency with the Air Force at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Vicik became the Chief of Dermatology at Scott AFB in Illinois. In addition to Medical and Surgical Dermatology, Dr. Vicik has participated in numerous clinical trials relating to FDA approvals. His private practice, Dermassociates, has seen many changes in the delivery of healthcare over the past four decades, but in spite of pressures by government insurance and the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Vicik remains committed to a patient first approach. With an expansion into cosmetic dermatology, first under the DermaLuxe name out of his Belleville practice, and now under the name Luxe Looks Derm Aesthetics in downtown Kirkwood, Dr. Vicik continues his commitment to exceptional patient care and exceptional staffing.

Luxe Looks is proud to have one of the most sought after injectors in the Greater St. Louis area and the Illinois Metro East. Abbie Calabio, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, is an industry leader in medical aesthetics. She is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years experience in facial anatomy, advanced injection skills, and skin rejuvenation treatments. Her artistic talent, skillful techniques and innate abilities have earned her the respect of her colleagues and an unprecedented loyal following of clients. Abbie is also recognized as a leading clinical educator and trainer. She was awarded the Central USA Clinical Trainer of the year by Merz Aesthetics in 2012, and has mentored and trained some of the top cosmetic injectors in the country. Currently, Abbie is providing mentoring within Suneva Medical’s training program, as she is the only provider of their Silhouette Instalift treatment in the state of Missouri. With almost 2 decades of experience, Tennie Kallial is a true MASTER Esthetician with not only advanced treatment skills that ensure the results you are seeking, but also the most caring demeanor in the industry. Tennie’s clients travel from all over Missouri and Illinois to reap the benefits from her services which include her very own “T’s Signature Facial”, dermaplaning, hydrafacials, masking, eyebrow waxing and tinting, and laser esthetics.
